Discipline Rules

Students/Parents/Guardians are specifically requested to note the below mentioned discipline rules and the code of conduct for the students of SIET, Paniv

Code of Conduct for Students

  • Students must always carry their valid College Identity Card.
  • Biometric attendance is compulsory before 9:20 AM and after 4:20 PM.
  • Strict adherence to the college dress code is mandatory.
  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in campus.
  • Students must not loiter during lectures and should attend all college activities.
  • Written permission from the class teacher is required for leave.
  • Students must seek prior permission to enter the Principal’s cabin, Admin Office or Departments.
  • Vehicle parking is allowed only in the designated parking area.
  • Emergency communication with parents should be done via the college phone.
  • Birthday celebrations in campus are not allowed.
  • Students must obtain the Principal’s permission for hostel leave (other than holidays).
  • Laboratory rules must be strictly followed.
  • Wearing saree on days allotted of the month is mandatory for girls.
  • Common room should be used only during illness.
  • College has no role to play or responsibility if students arrange trips on their own.
  • Exam rules must be strictly followed; malpractices will be punished.
  • Damage to college property will lead to severe action.
  • Discipline and behavior records will be considered for admission.
  • For any matter or incident occurring in the college, students should not visit the homes of teachers or management. Such matters should be resolved within the college itself.
  • Meditation is compulsory in the institute.
  • License & helmet is compulsory for students and staff.
  • Minimum 75% attendance in all subjects is required to be eligible for the exam.
  • Students should follow all the rules given by Shriram Shikshan Sanstha.
