1. To provide an overview of the major environmental challenges facing the planet today.

2.To make the students understand the global impact of environmental degradation.

3. To introduce the United Nations’ SDGs and link them to environmental issues.
4. To discuss actionable steps that individuals, communities, businesses, and governments can take to address environmental challenges.
