About E&TC Department

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication is one of the major departments of Shriram Institute of Engineering & Technology (Poly), Paniv established in 2008. It has an intake capacity of 60 students, to meet the growing requirements of practical designing for emerging needs of Electronics and Telecommunication Industry and Research. The vision of the department to develop the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers with good technical educational base in Electronics and Telecommunication field to fulfill social, industrial needs. Primary objective of the Department has been to impart quality education, training and research at the undergraduate level in various areas of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in order to produce engineers of highest calibre. The curriculum offers broad coverage to all areas of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering to give a strong foundation on various topics/areas such as Digital Systems Design, Electromagnetic Theory, Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Electronic Circuits, VLSI Design, Communication Engineering, and Microwave Engineering. The Department has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty having expertise in following areas: VLSI and Embedded Systems, Microcontroller & Applications, Communication System, Power Electronics, Consumer Electronic Systems, Circuits & Networks, Digital Techniques. The students are also provided an opportunity to choose specialization electives to focus on their identified areas of interest such as Advance Power Electronics, IOT Applications, Microwave Engineering & Radar System, Mechatronics and Optical Network & Satellite communication. From the very inception, this department has established itself as an efficient, self reliant and quality conscious entity with the sole aim of producing the most energetic, enthusiastic and professionally competent Electronic Engineers with ability to take up the challenges posed to them. we impart education with an appropriate skill to make our graduate competent for Industry, higher education, research, and entrepreneurship. We strive to satisfy demand raised by Industry by making students to face future generation technology and applications in consortium with our stakeholders like Industry and research institute of repute.
